Kylie Katherine Beal and David Max Gutzman, both of Dallas, Texas, were united in marriage on August 24, 2013 at the St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The Reverend Patrick E. Bright, Rector of All Souls’ Episcopal Church, Oklahoma City, officiated the ceremony. Other clergy assisting included the Right Reverend Dr. Edward J. Konieczny, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma, and the Reverend John H. Marlin, Assisting Priest at All Souls’ and Vicar Emeritus of Casady School. The ceremony took place on the Great Lawn of the St. Regis at the base of Mount Baldy, Deer Valley, overlooking the Wasatch Mountain Range. A blessing at St. Luke’s Episcopal Chapel in Old Town Park City preceded the wedding ceremony.

Kylie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elby J. Beal of Oklahoma City. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Katherine Fleske of Oklahoma City, the late Robert Both Fleske and the late Edith Tayar Beal and Elby J. Beal, Sr. David is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dennis Raymond Gutzman of San Antonio, Texas. He is the grandson of Colonel and Mrs. Max Axelsen of San Antonio, and Mr. Lloyd Roy Gutzman of Green Bay, Wis. and the late Darlene Ruby Gutzman.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an Oscar de la Renta ivory corded Chantilly lace gown with tiered tulle trumpet skirt. Her veil was a chapel length mantilla edged in Chantilly lace. The bride carried a bouquet of dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, wisteria vines and soft summer foliage in shades of blush, coral, peach and pink. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and the music of a double string quartet while waiting for the wedding party to arrive. Under a clear tent, softly lit with crystal chandeliers and overflowing with flowers on the Mountain Terrace of the St. Regis, the father of the bride and the groom sabered bottles of champagne to kick off the celebration which was followed by an elegant seated dinner and dancing into the evening.
