Hall of Famer Jim Brown: ‘I would love to have a role with the Browns'

— Hall of fame running back Jim Brown wants to put the nasty breakup aside and get back together.

Brown plans to meet with incoming Browns owner Jimmy Haslam III on Saturday in hopes of re-establishing a role with the organization from which he has been estranged during the past couple of years. It might not be considered a formal job interview, but Brown didn't conceal his wish to work for Haslam during a half-hour interview with reporters before an alumni golf outing at Avon Oaks Country Club on Friday.
