EDMOND — It was like a fireworks show and a science project rolled into one. More than 100 pumpkins were launched Sunday by a catapult during the first Pumpkin Chunkin' sponsored by Edmond Parks and Recreation Department.

Oklahoma City Zoo expects big crowds for trick-or-treat event
Warm, dry weather could mean a boost in attendance this week at the annual Haunt the Zoo for Halloween at the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Oklahoma health officials say pumpkin carving causes highest Halloween risk
Oklahoma officials warned of several dangers for parents to be aware of during Halloween festivities and said jack-o'-lantern carving is the No. 1 cause of injuries related to the holiday to children between 10 and 14 years old.
