THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK COVERS NORTHERN…WESTERN…
CENTRAL…AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA…AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK… WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED. ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED BUT ISOLATED
STORMS PRODUCING 50 TO 60 MPH WIND GUSTS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN
SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.

DISCUSSION… WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR
MUCH OF OKLAHOMA THROUGH THE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE AREA. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE
MAIN THREAT AND A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF THE
AREA. BY LATE AFTERNOON THE FRONT WILL MOVE TO NEAR THE RED RIVER
VALLEY. A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE SOUTH OF
THE FRONT AND A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE NEAR THE FRONT IN
SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. ISOLATED STORMS PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 60 MPH WILL
BE POSSIBLE.

PROBABILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING IN THE
              NWS NORMAN COUNTY WARNING AREA…100 PERCENT.
PROBABILITY OF SEVERE STORMS IF STORMS OCCUR…20 PERCENT.

OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER…
A VERY MOIST ATMOSPHERE AND SLOW MOVING STORMS WILL SUPPORT THE
POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING…ACROSS NORTHERN…CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
AND PARTS OF SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA THROUGH THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK…
SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF
OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY AS A COLD
FRONT SLOWLY MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN WESTERN NORTH TEXAS AND FAR SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE
FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…BUT CHANCES FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL
REMAIN LOW.
