THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK COVERS NORTHERN…WESTERN…
CENTRAL…AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA…AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE…REST OF THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK…
ISOLATED STRONG TO PERHAPS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
50 TO 60 MPH WIND GUSTS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES
ARE POSSIBLE IN FAR SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS MAINLY
BEFORE 10 PM.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL…NORTHERN…AND
WESTERN OKLAHOMA THROUGH TONIGHT AS WELL.

DISCUSSION…
A SLOW MOVING WEAK COLD FRONT SOUTH OF THE RED RIVER WILL
ALLOW A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TO FORM NEAR IT IN THE VERY MOIST
AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS. A FEW STRONG TO PERHAPS SEVERE STORMS ARE
POSSIBLE IN FAR SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS THROUGH THE
EVENING HOURS. ISOLATED STORMS PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO NEAR
60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY DISSIPATE AFTER
8 PM THIS EVENING WITH THE LOSS OF DAYTIME HEATING.

THERE IS A CHANCE THAT A THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX MAY MOVE INTO
NORTHERN OKLAHOMA FROM KANSAS AFTER 7 PM THIS EVENING. IF THIS
COMPLEX MAKES IT INTO NORTHERN OKLAHOMA…HEAVY RAINFALL OF
1 TO 2 INCHES WOULD BE POSSIBLE.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ISOLATED IN OKLAHOMA THROUGH TONIGHT IN A
VERY MOIST AND SLIGHTLY UNSTABLE AIRMASS. THE STRONGEST STORMS MAY
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO
50 MPH.

ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK…
RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA
AND NORTH TEXAS THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY. A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
IN WESTERN NORTH TEXAS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT…AND MAY RETURN TO FAR WESTERN OKLAHOMA MONDAY NIGHT…BUT CHANCES
FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL REMAIN LOW.
