CENTRAL…AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA…AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK… SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
OVER PARTS OF WESTERN NORTH TEXAS AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA THROUGH
TONIGHT. NO SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED.

DISCUSSION…
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CURRENTLY MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD
ACROSS THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS WILL DRIFT INTO PORTIONS OF FAR
NORTHWESTERN AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. ADDITIONAL
ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE
PANHANDLES INTO PORTIONS OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS
THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED…
BUT A FEW STRONG STORMS PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE POSSIBLE.

VALID THROUGH 700 AM CDT THURSDAY AUG 15.
PROBABILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING IN THE 
              NWS NORMAN COUNTY WARNING AREA…50 PERCENT.
PROBABILITY OF SEVERE STORMS IF STORMS OCCUR…10 PERCENT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK…
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY NIGHT…AND MAY RETURN TO FAR WESTERN OKLAHOMA MONDAY
NIGHT. THE BEST CHANCES FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE IN NORTHWESTERN
OKLAHOMA THURSDAY NIGHT.
