NORMAN — Generationals, a touring act from New Orleans, has given up an off day on its national tour to headline Heal, OK, a tornado relief benefit concert set for 7:30 p.m. June 19 at Opolis, 113 N Crawford Ave.
Having gone through similar devastation when Hurricane Katrina ravaged their hometown, band members volunteered to play the show for free to raise funds for American Red Cross of Central and Western Oklahoma and to aid those who lost their homes and livelihoods.
The band will be joined by The Wurly Birds and a local act to be determined.
Tickets are available at www.TicketStorm.com and at the door for $10. Additional donations will be accepted at the show.
