A preliminary hearing conference has been set for four people charged with kidnapping an 18-year-old Oklahoma City man and tattooing the word “RAPEST” on his forehead before shocking him with a stun gun and beating him unconscious.

Meanwhile, a prosecutor confirms that plea negotiations are under way with attorneys for each of the four.

The conference was scheduled for Aug. 3 by Special Judge Stephen Alcorn during a hearing Tuesday in Oklahoma City.

The four are each charged with kidnapping, maiming and assault and battery of Stetson Johnson in Del City. They are 25-year-old Richard Dellert, 21-year-old Zachary Provence, 24-year-old Kimberly Kirchler Vergara and 33-year-old Lorena Hodges.

The four did not appear in court for Tuesday's hearing — but are in custody at the courthouse.
