Dating, engaged and married couples are invited to the sixth annual Heart & Soul Couples free event, hosted by the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative on Saturday.

Heart & Soul is designed for the African-American community but is open to anyone. Couples will learn communication skills to help them learn to discuss without fussing, keep the spark alive and strengthen commitment. The afternoon session will be followed by an evening of dinner, dancing, prizes and entertainment.

Heart & Soul will be from 1 to 10 p.m. at the Montgomery Event Center, 500 W Main in Oklahoma City. A special benefit for engaged couples is the $45 discount they’ll receive on their marriage license by attending.
