Central Oklahoma's high temperature will be near 102 degrees Thursday with a heat index near 105 degrees, the National Weather Service reports.
There is a 30 percent chance for rain Thursday and a 40 percent chance Friday in central Oklahoma.
Temperatures will cool off Saturday with a high of 80 degrees in Oklahoma City, the weather service reports.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny and hot with a high near 98. Windy with a south wind 13 to 23 mph becoming north, northeast 28 to 38 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.
Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 59. North wind 16 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Saturday: Sunny with a high near 80. North wind around 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.
