Heavy snow opening some Washington ski resorts

SEATTLE (AP) — Heavy snow in the Washington Cascades is allowing some ski resorts to open in time for the holiday weekend.

Stevens Pass is opening Tuesday. Crystal Mountain and Mount Baker are opening Wednesday.
