Heisman Blitz
Men in motion
Heisman finalists
By all accounts, Heisman voters have struggled mightily in deciding between the three finalists: OU’s Sam Bradford, Texas’ Colt McCoy and Florida’s Tim Tebow. On ESPN radio Friday, Mel Kiper Jr. went so far to say it was a shame they couldn’t break the trophy into pieces and pass them out among the three of them. Who gets the head? Bottom line: Don’t be surprised if any of the three wins. Or if we get one of the closest three-way votes in the award’s 75-year history.

Tie-breaker?
So, what will separate the winner in this expected close contest? Thankfully, the BCS Standings won’t be needed. The difference in the three-place polling could come down not to No. 1 nods, but second-place votes. And there’s a feeling out there that favors Bradford, whom voters apparently have a hard time slotting below No. 2.
