Party: Natalie Law and Chris Daniels were honorees at a Fiesta and shower in the home of Becky and Chris Haugen.

Outside: Guests had dinner around the swimming pool and sombreros and bouquets of sunflowers and daisies decorated the tables.

Event: Friends of Erin Moore and Blake Beeler gathered for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Harry's Bar at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club to celebrate their upcoming wedding. They will be married in June in Santa Fe, N.M.

Occasion: For Becky Howell's 40th birthday, Melissa Sikking was hostess for a party at Remington Park. It was a Kentucky Derby-themed party with balloons and decorations and all the guests wore Derby attire including beautiful hats.

THIS OLD HOUSE
Celebration: Warren Edwards' delightful house at 1440 NW 37 is more than100 years old, and he gave a party to celebrate. He invited neighbors, family members and friends to come by for lunch.
History: The house was built in 1911 for Charles West. He and Sophie West lived there from 1911-1928. Others who have lived there are Frances Fite Ambrister and Hubert Oklahoma Ambrister, 1928-1980, and Warren Edwards, 1980-present.

Picnic: Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae members met for the annual spring picnic in the home of Jennifer Shadid.

The buzz: Karma Robinson, 2012 Flaming Festival Chairman, announced that Louise Parsley, humorist, columnist and author, will be the guest speaker at the Nov. 7 Flaming Festival.
Classic cocktails/cigars: John Richels, Pete Delaney and Michael Joseph were hosts for a Gentlemen's Night at the Oklahoma City Orchestra League Symphony Show House. Dinner and cocktails were provided by the Skirvin Hilton Hotel.
