CELEBRATION!
Occasion: Mary and Mitchell Simon were honored at a 70th wedding anniversary/90th birthday luncheon, hosted by their children, Sandy Simon Childress, Edmond; Susan and Buster Simon, Stillwater; Michele Simon, Clinton, and Jo and Paul Simon, Weatherford. The party was in the couple's hometown of Clinton at the White Dog Inn.
Decor: Dozens of Mason jars were filled with red, pink and white flowers and an antique buffet with every Valentine candy imaginable was set up complete with personalized chocolates.
Guests: The 75 guests included Carletta and Dr. Ralph Simon, Elsie Simon and Dee Razook Massad.

Reception: A reception at the Howell Gallery honored Susan Stamm Evans and Dick Evans, both Santa Fe, N.M., artists. He creates abstract paintings based on landscapes and she is a sculptor who creates bronze works.
