‘MAGIC IN THE AIR' ANNIVERSARY
Anniversary: Holly and Clay Healey celebrated their 10th anniversary with a party at The Coach House. The invitation to the party said in part, “It's bound to be great! You so know it will. It's the last day to play ‘fore the Christmas Drill. Valets will be working whatever the weather, so we can MAKE MAGIC on this night together.”
Entertainment: Simon Winthrop, Las Vegas entertainer, was on tap for the evening and the crowd enjoyed his magic tricks and mental expertise. Michael Kleid played saxophone.
Decorations: Decor for the party was red and silver. Red Roses were centerpieces and silver snowflakes hung from the ceiling.

Bridesmaid's lunch: Macy Beeler, who married Matt Smith on Dec. 21, was honored at a luncheon at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. Hostesses were Barbara Beeler, Lucy Beeler, Kay Blake and Kathy Griffin.
Tables: Crystal bowls held bouquets of red roses and Christmas greenery. Napkin rings were sprigs of greenery and holly berries. Lunch was chicken crepes and individual creme brulees.
Special touch: Guests had Champagne in front of a huge fireplace in the Great Hall before dining in the Regency Room.
FRIENDSHIP AND CHEER
Party: Candy and Bob Reece entertained at a holiday party in their home. Candy greeted guests in a Christmas green peplum top with matching silk pants and a holiday necklace with colorful stones.
Menu/Decor: The home was decorated for Christmas and food from Kyle Anderson included tenderloin, ham, smoked salmon, cheese trays, artichoke dip and sweet treats.

Festive party: Juliana Samara and Spencer Simon were honorees at a pre-wedding party in the home of Tracey and Rick Brown. Co-hosts were Karen and Rob Braver, Lucinda and David Huffman, Sherrie and Jim Kite, Mary and J. Robert Reneau, Gayla and Tom Stapleton and Suzie Viele.
Theme: The hosts used a romantic theme with candles throughout the house, including the stairway. Long-stemmed roses were in the living room, dining room and entryway. Guests were asked to come dressed “mysteriously romantic,” prompting many to wear black.
Gift: The hosts gave the engaged couple who are planning a February wedding an engraved silver tray and presented secret notes from the guests (some of the hosts wore black masks) wishing them a happy marriage.

10TH PIRATE PARTY OPEN HOUSE
Ahoy, me hearties: Mary Ellen Meredith, America Meredith, Samonia and Dennis Byford entertained at the 10th annual Pirate's Party in the home of Mary Ellen Meredith. The open house featured “eats, drinks and a pirate band.” Pirate foods included barbecue and seafood sushi from Will Rogers Theater and Sushi Neko. Guests were encouraged to wear costumes and hosts had party hats, eye patches and swords for people who wanted to wear them. The Rum Fellows Band from Norman played.
All hands on deck: At the party were Bob Blackburn, Sherry Sullivan and Blue Clark, Sanger Clark, Barbara and Ben Harjo, Debbie Sutor, Rhonda and Scott Meredith, Carleen Burger, Anita and Tom May, Jack Baker, Steve Replogle and Lou Kerr.
MCCONNELL'S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Party: Lisa and Jeff McConnell were hosts for an old-fashioned Christmas party in their home. Billy Maxwell as Santa greeted guests as they arrived and pianist Nathan Sobel played Christmas songs with a jazz twist. Guests also heard pianist/vocalist Kate McConnell and harpist Alex Gray. Whitney Tero led the singing of Christmas carols.
Menu: Included on the menu were salmon, caviar, stuffed mushrooms, beef tenderloin, crab cakes, shrimp, lobster mac & cheese and candied bacon. There was a s'mores station by the fire pit.
Decorations: The outside of the house was decorated in white lights and the inside of the house featured poinsettias, fresh greenery and twinkling lights.
Guests: Among the 100 guests were Mary Ellen and Bill Gumerson, Whitney and Dan Tero, Christina and Kio Nihira, Laurel and Ward Hall, Charles Thompson, Carey Sue and Ricardo Vega, Father William Novak and Ann and Alex Cameron.
Occasion: Jackie Short and Terry Runnels were hosts to last year's Senior Follies cast. Everyone brought his or her favorite family holiday snack or dessert. Bobbie Burbridge Lane gave each cast member a copy of Mike Anderson's new book, “This Day.” She announced that the Oklahoma Senior Follies 2014 would be June 13-15 at Oklahoma City University.
