BOOMERANG AWARDS DINNER
Member-guest tournament dinner: 212 members and guests who played in the Boomerang Golf Tournament at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club were entertained Saturday at the awards dinner. The menu featured salmon and beef tenderloin. Table decorations featured LED lights under each table and vases with white shades and LED sprays.
Music: Jam Wowz Band played during the evening.
Program: Head golf professional Tim Fleming announced the winners and the golf staff handed out trophies.

BOOMERANG POOL PARTY
Event: Tables for guests were set outside at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club for the pool party and food tables were set up under tents. Driftwood centerpieces held candles, sand and seashells, as well as LED globes. Grass skirting was on the buffet tables. Guests wore colorful leis.
Special drinks: Mai tais, Singapore slings and pina coladas were served in tiki cups as guests arrived, and a margarita machine was available.
Dinner: Five food stations offered a variety of dishes, including Polynesian fish tacos, coconut-crusted crab cakes, a sushi platter with seared tuna, marinated and grilled lobster tail, a pit-roasted pig, sugar cane smoked rib-eye steak, mini-taco salad bowls, passion fruit creme Brule, coconut and mango rice pudding, pina colado bites, key lime bites, caramelized banana pudding and green tea Panna Cotta.
Other activities: There was a stag party for the men on Wednesday night as well as a reception, dinner and fashion show at Balliet’s for the women.
Event: The Women’s Southern Golf Association Amateur Tournament was held at Gaillardia Golf & Country Club. The first day was a welcome reception where pairings were posted. Other activities during the week of qualifying rounds and match play included a cocktail reception, dinners and a special awards ceremony and banquet.
