Spring dance: Ninety-five members of the Lotus Club met for the spring dance at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club and danced to the Burton Band.

Tables: White hydrangeas, apricot and pink roses, green mums, purple and white stock and pink ranunculus in round glass bowls.

Arrangements: Marilyn and Bud Meade planned the music and flowers, and Penny and John McCaleb planned the menu. Bud Meade is the group's president.

Surprise luncheon: Dannie Bea Hightower and Lee Allan Smith were surprised at a luncheon at Gaillardia Golf and Country Club. Myriad Gardens 25th Anniversary Gala chairmen Linda Haneborg and David Holt invited them to hear about plans for the upcoming celebration. Before lunch, the chairmen asked other guests to toast two of the “original visionaries for the Myriad Gardens and influential community builders.” Smith and Hightower were then asked to be honorary chairmen for the June 20th event.

Gift: The two new chairmen received window herb gardens from Myriad Gardens.

At lunch: Joining the festivities were Gail Huneryager, Debra Morey, Kelley Barnes and Christine Eddington. Unable to attend but sending their congratulations were Maureen Heffernan, Jean McLaughlin, Shelly McInroe and Jim Tolbert.

Sip and See: Baby Megan Taylor Sanger and her mother, Angie Sanger, were honorees at a Sip and See party given by Emily Jacobson. Megan was born in April to Angie and Ford Sanger. The party invitation asked guests to “meet Angie and Ford's new little one” and noted that the party was “hosted with love” by Emily (Angie's sister). It was a small gathering of family and friends.

Table: Pink lanterns and white hydrangeas decorated the table which held champagne and pink lemonade. Mini-cupcakes and monogrammed cookies were served along with pink macaroon cookies.

Best dressed: Megan wore a white outfit embellished with tiny pink rosebuds and a headband with a pink bow.

Sip and see: Baby Isabella Thomas Caldwell Howell and her mother, Elisabeth Austin Howell, were honorees at a Sip and See party given by Patti Marshall. The baby was born in December to Elisabeth and Robert Howell, Houston.

Table: Pink roses and stuffed animals decorated the party table and sparkling wine and cupcakes were served.
