SCARY NASH BASH
Party: Anita and Mike Nash were hosts for their 11th annual Halloween Nash Bash. Decorations included a front-yard cemetery, tiki torches along the driveway and strings of lights, blow up ghosts and Halloween decorations everywhere in their home.
Partying for a cause: Guests brought donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of a Nash friend. “So many people asked what they could bring for our party, we just asked them to donate to research,” Anita Nash said.
Celebrating a birthday: There was a 50th birthday cake covered with cobwebs and spiders for the hostess, along with dinner and other desserts.
Seen: Christin Adkins, Jonette and John-Paul Ayubi, Janna and Michael Leach, Kim and Brad Shirley, Ali Clark, Malena Lott, Lynde Nash, Keri Strunk, Holly Smith, Lisa and Doug Hoke, Denise and Mark Ebersbach, Beth and Ryan Kanaly, Jessie and Jim Keester were at the party.
Honoree luncheon: Honorees for the Oklahoma City University 2014 Awards of Excellence were introduced at a luncheon at The Coach House.
Honorees: Linda Whittington, Kirkpatrick Petree Music & Performing Arts Society Award; Marion Paden, Dulaney-Browne Library Society Award; Anne Gray, Norick-Hulsey Gallery Society Award; and Jenee Lister, OCU Distinguished Philanthropist Award.
Hostesses: Cathy Leichter, OCU Societies president, Annie Bohanon and Jane Thompson, event chairmen.
Tables: Vases filled with roses were on the tables, as well as “Save the Date” cards for the Feb. 27 event.

What/where/who: The seventh annual Oklahoma City Scotch Tasting party was held in the home of Simone and Peter Fulmer. Hosts were Mark Mann, Steve Cortes and Bill Hickman.
Why: To benefit the Angels Foster Family Network.
How: The party featured scotch presented by John Henry, New York City, food from Mickey Mantel's Steakhouse and cigars from ZT Cigars. Entertainment was Pipes & Drums by Highlanders of Oklahoma City.
Who else: Among those attending were Todd Naifeh, Amy and Kelly Gray, Anthony McDermid, Patrick Gaines, Paula Love, Justin McSpedden, John James, Dr. Kelly Klontz, Greg Palmer, John Meyers and Eric Nelson.
EXHIBIT PREVIEW LUNCHEON
Event: For the Ana Maria Hernando art exhibit, a preview luncheon was held at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, and hostesses were Tricia Everest, Ann Johnstone, Joan Maguire and Kim O'Connor. Stella's Restaurant provided lunch for 65 women.
Decorations: Centerpieces were bowls filled with fall flowers from Trochta's. Andrea Wijkowski, OCAC education coordinator, and pottery artist made the pottery bowls.
Occasion: Members of the Oklahoma Art League met at All Souls Episcopal Church. Local artist Judy Kelley brought several pieces of her Southwest-colored, pine-needle-bordered gourds for members to view.
