Party: A group of hosts honored Amy Mueller and Parker Douglass at a cocktail party at Harry's Bar at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. Friends and family members were invited to celebrate their wedding, which will be in November in Austin, Texas.
Hosts: Marilyn and Jack Barragree, Barbara and Bud Beeler, Peggy and Nick Duncan, Karlie and Harvey Harmon, Susan and Peter Hoffman, Linda and Ron James, Barbara Quillian, Suzy and Gary Rawlinson, Leslie and Larry Regens, Jana and Lee Reynolds and Karen Watson were hosts.
Flowers/food: Bouquets of hydrangeas, sunflowers and red roses were on the tables. Food included sliced prime rib with potatoes and mushrooms, coconut shrimp, ahi tuna nachos, egg rolls and fried green beans.
Guests: Bill Kratz, Lee Harmon, Peter Rawlings, Christy and Jim Everest, Lawre Everest, Libby and Morton Payne, Millie and Johnson Hightower, Tricia Everest, Ruthanne and Craig Regens, Lauren and Tucker Brollier and Lindsey and Jeff Graham were among the people at the party.
Wedding party: Ellen and Chris Long (she is the former Ellen Carey) were honored at a Mexican-themed party to celebrate their Aug. 24 marriage in Beaver Creek, Colo.
Decorations: The Mexican theme was carried out in the decorations including brightly colored tablecloths, dishes and flowers.
Party hosts: Janie and Jon Axton, Jane and David Edmonds, Marjory Feighny, Ann and Zane Fleming, Marsha and John Funk, Megan and Pete Hann, Barbara and John Nichols, Sarah Lee Parrish, Sandra and Marvin Peyton and Rhonda and David Walters in the Walters home.

Dinner/dancing: Members of the Lotus Club met at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club for the annual fall dance. The Burton Band played for dancing.
New members: Lida and Ron Elkins and Jane and Jim White are new Lotus Club members. Bud Meade is club president.
Party: Becky Howell was honored at a come and go “Send Off to New Jersey Party.” Marla Bleakley was hostess at Charleston's Restaurant in Edmond for cocktails. Howell moved to Bedminster Township, N.J., last week.
Guests: 30 friends and family members attended the party, and after the main event, they went to Baker's Street for more good byes.
Gift: The hostess brought a signable picture frame so guests could write their good wishes.
ALL LEAGUE SOCIAL
Social: The Training and Leadership Development Committee, with Randis Gallaway as chairman, were hostesses for a party for provisional, active and sustaining members of the Junior League of Oklahoma City. The party was at Rococo's at Northpark Mall.
Purpose: The event was to celebrate the beginning of the new league. Members had drinks and appetizers and did some networking at the come-and-go party.
RICK STEVES HONORED
Dinner: Members of the Oklahoma City Town Hall board entertained travel writer and public television host Rick Steves, of Edmonds, Wash., at a dinner prior to his Town Hall lecture to about 1,000 people on Iran the following day. The event was at Kam's Kookery.
