Who/what/where: Members of the Alliance Dance Club met for the Fall Fantasy Dance at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. Music was by Steve Crossley.

Why: The local dance club has 200 members. The members, mostly singles, with some club married members, are 40 years old and older.

How: James Stapp is president of the group. Other officers are Liz Bishop, vice president; Anne Pixler, membership; Carol Cooley, treasurer; Jeanine Bickerstaff, social; Dixie Stewart, secretary; Marie Roberson, publicity; Sharon Hopkins, decorations; Tim Hawks, member-at-large, and Fred and Marilyn Ayers, married liaisons. Dinner dances, both formal and informal, are being held this year at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club, Twin Hills Golf and Country Club, the Jim Thorpe Hall of Fame and the Skirvin Hilton Hotel. Next dance is Dec. 8 at the Skirvin with the Burton Boys Band.


Luncheon: The fall luncheon for members of Tri Delta Alumnae's Golden Circle Club was held at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. Hostesses were new officers of the group: Sonja Pellow, chairman; Nancy Stoll, secretary; and Helen Duckett, treasurer.

Speakers: Alumnae advisers from the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University talked about the activities, awards and calendars of their respective chapter houses.

Decorations: Leaves were scattered on the tables among decorative pumpkins and candles.

Seen: Bev Carter, Ann Crandall, Shirley Michael, Joy Richardson, Jackie Acers and Sidney Greathouse were among the people at the luncheon.


Event: Casady School's Distinguished Graduate honoree Hunt Lowry spoke to members of the Casady Club at The Coach House. The event was held during the school's homecoming activities.
