Herschel Walker: Trading Adrian Peterson would be a mistake

The NFL trade deadline passed Tuesday with Adrian Peterson staying put as activity across the league remained mostly quiet.

Former NFL running back Herschel Walker, who was a part of one of the most infamous trades in league history, said the thought of trading Peterson "would be an insult."



Peterson stars for the Minnesota Vikings, the franchise Walker was traded to in 1989 in a blockbuster multi-player deal that changed the power structure of the NFL.
