High fuel costs don't deter out-of-state mini sprint racers

Despite high fuel costs, hundreds of drivers from places as far away as Kentucky are here this weekend for the 2008 Mini Sprint Nationals, which have been held annually at I-44 Speedway for the past four years.

Many drivers said that despite the costs, which for many are more than $1,000, the trip is worth it because of the enormity of the event.
