Meador was spectacular Monday, striking out 16 and hitting a home run in a 5-0 win against Purcell. She is now 24-0 on the season and has compiled 224 strikeouts.

Boys cross country

Bryce Balenseifen, Deer Creek

Balenseifen appears to have put a preseason injury behind him, blazing to a victory at Oklahoma State's Cowboy Jamboree, one of the state's most competitive meets, drawing runners from all over Oklahoma and Texas. Balenseifen's time of 16:22.28 was 32 seconds ahead of second place.

Girls cross country

Tessa Potter, Tecumseh

With a time of 12:53, Potter ran away with the individual title at the STP Conference meet in Tecumseh Tuesday, with only one competitor within a minute of her winning time. Tecumseh finished second as a team behind Pauls Valley.

Volleyball

Rachel Moore, Heritage Hall

The junior middle hitter anchored the Class 5A No. 1 Chargers at the net as they picked up three straight wins over ranked opponents in the final days of the regular season.
