Here are some other metro-area baseball players to watch this season:

Jordan Boyer, Deer Creek: Antlers’ leadoff hitter hit. 398 and scored 43 runs last season. He has signed with Wichita State.

Jacob Chappell, Guthrie: Speedy shortstop has signed with OSU and has some pop, as evidenced by his leadoff homer Thursday against Carl Albert.

Caleb Eldridge, Deer Creek: The first baseman and OSU signee has impressive power from the left side of the plate.

Bradley Kinsey, Norman North: Left-hander who has signed with Wichita State went 6-2 with a 1.86 ERA last season.

Jon Littell, Stillwater: Considered the top outfielder in the state by many scouts, Littell has signed with Oklahoma State, but June’s draft could change career path.

Colin Simpson, Edmond Memorial: Junior catcher is verbally committed to OSU and is off to a strong start for the Bulldogs.

Dalton Tillison, Dale: Left-hander continues long line of strong pitchers for the Pirates and has signed with Seminole State.

Quin Walbergh, Edmond Santa Fe: An Oklahoma signee, Walbergh is a strong hitter and solid infielder.

Corey Zangari, Carl Albert: Junior catcher is committed to OSU, but could excel on the mound where he is touching upper 90s on the radar gun.
