Behind 22 points from sophomore Kelsi Bussert, Bethany edged Newcastle 46-45.

The Bronchos improved to 6-1 on the season, bouncing back from their first loss of the season prior to the holiday break.

CLASSEN SAS WINS EIGHTH GAME

Kennedy Williams scored 23 points to lead the Classen SAS girls to their eighth win of the season, 59-48 over Centennial.

Maya Thompson added 17 for Classen, which is 8-2 in its second season under coach Malcolm Roberts.

LUTHER GETS OT WIN

Alexandra Greenhoward scored 33 points to lead Luther to a 60-53 win over Cashion in overtime.

Greenhoward's 33 offset 31 points scored by Cashion sophomore Alix Robinson.

The Midwest City boys continued their early roll with a 77-60 win over Westmoore, behind 21 points for Daryck Jones. ... Del City got 22 from Stephen Edwards in a 55-42 win over Norman. ... Norman North's Bri Kuerstersteffen scored a game-high 24 points in a 45-37 win over Edmond Memorial. ... Callie Atkins scored 20 to lead Stillwater to a 57-53 win over Edmond North. ... The Oklahoma Christian girls had four scorers in double figures in a 57-42 win over Christian Heritage.
