Okarche reeled off 18 consecutive points to start the second quarter, building a 38-14 lead by the break.

MIDWEST CITY ROLLS

Midwest City's Daryck Jones scored 16, Kesean Brown added 14 and Louis Parker added 10 as Midwest City's boys blew out Norman 73-38 at home.

The Bombers jumped out to a big lead early, outscoring the Tigers 16-6 in the first quarter.

PRINCE LEADS NORMAN NORTH

Fresh off Norman North's Class 6A football runner-up season, Peyton Prince scored 22 to lead the Timberwolves to an 83-76 win over Moore.

Freshman Marcus Dickinson added 16 as five Norman North players scored in double figures.

AVANTS LEADS DEER CREEK

Deer Creek used a big fourth quarter to come from behind for a 51-47 win over Shawnee on the road.

Conner Avants scored 19, and Tyler Haddock added 11 as Deer Creek erased a 34-32 lead after three.

Theo Berry scored 14 to lead Shawnee.

TRIER SCORES 49

Allonzo Trier did just about all he could but it wasn’t quite enough for Tulsa NOAH. Trier, a sophomore who transferred to NOAH from the Oklahoma City Storm before the season, scored 49 points in an 87-82 loss to Tulsa Memorial. Trier is considered one of the top 50 prospects in the country for the 2015 class and already has offers from a group that includes Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, ORU, Wichita State and Houston among others.

GIRLS JUMP SHOTS

Carl Albert trailed by nine at halftime, but the Titans outscored Piedmont 30-18 after the break to come out with a 50-47 win on the road. ... Norman North's Bri Kuestersteffen scored 18 pints to lead the Timberwolves to a 64-47 win at Moore. ... Classen's Kennedy Williams scored 24 in a 47-37 win over Southeast. ... St. Mary's beat U.S. Grant 76-7. The Rockets led 22-0 after one and 41-2 at halftime.

BOYS JUMP SHOTS

McLoud's boys overcame a six-point halftime deficit and dominated overtime, beating Perkins 55-48. Michael Byington scored 15 to lead McLoud, while Klayton Adams added 14. ... Evan Anderson scored 20 to lead Dale to a 52-37 win over Bethel. ... David Bush scored 16 as Putnam City beat Yukon 66-46.
