YUKON — Edmond Santa Fe quarterback Justice Hansen didn't let a little wind, rain and a lightning delay hinder his performance.

The junior passed for 190 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 79 yards and two more TDs to lead the Wolves past host Yukon 42-23 at Miller Field on Friday night.

With 3:07 left in the first quarter, game officials stopped the game due to lightning. The delay lasted more than an hour, but Edmond Santa Fe had already done plenty of damage against the Millers' defense.

Hansen struck first for the Wolves (2-0) when shunned pressure and found Cameron Westbrook on a short dump pass. Westbrook wove in and out of defenders to complete a 59-yard touchdown.

Santa Fe's Dahniel Bly intercepted Hayden Somerville's first pass of the game, with 5:41 left in the first quarter, and returned it to the Millers' 18-yard line. A few plays later, Hansen scored from 5 yards on a quarterback draw up the middle to give Edmond Santa Fe a 14-0 lead.

The Wolves took a 21-0 lead when Eric Davis intercepted Somerville and returned the ball 70 yards for a TD.

Edmond Santa Fe (2-0) was in control from there. Hansen added a 40-yard TD run, and he found speedy wideout Trevan Smith for a score. Smith, the younger brother of Carolina Panthers defensive back and former Santa Fe star Reggie Smith, caught five passes for 65 yards.
