“I like offense, but I love defense. I don't care where I'm playing, though, as long as I'm playing football and having fun.”
Barr'e knows that one of the big hits against him has been his grades. He missed time as a sophomore because he was ineligible. But he says he has those issues behind him now.
“That was a problem my freshman and sophomore years, but my junior year, I made all A's and B's,” he said. “I'm in summer school right now working on my GPA. I'm trying really hard to improve.
“I wasn't applying myself in the classroom as hard as I should have been. But I definitely take pride in working hard in there now.”
