Class 3A No. 2 Tuttle held Little Axe to 47 total yards and Cooper Koons threw five touchdown passes in a 56-0 victory Friday night. Koons connected three times with Caleb Dills, the longest a 26-yarder. His other two TD passes went to Seth Odam.
The Tigers improved to 5-0 overall, 2-0 in District 3A-1.
Nathan Waggnor threw four touchdown passes and ran for two scores, leading Class B No. 4 Dewar past No. 7 Davenport 56-42. Three of Waggnor’s TD passes went to Blake Johnson, who finished with five catches for 146 yards.
Early Nero carried 16 times for 208 yards and two touchdowns for the Dragons (5-0).
Davenport (3-2) had five touchdowns from Kevin Thomas — three on the ground, one on a 40-yard reception and the other on a 49-yard interception return.
Brock Harmon ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as Washington defeated Hobart 45-7. Harmon’s TD runs were for 13 and 5 yards. His touchdown pass was a 19-yarder to Cody Bratten, who also scored by recovering a fumble in the end zone.
Washington (2-3) held Hobart to 112 total yards.
Austin Brooks threw three touchdown passes and Cameron James scored three times as Class 2A No. 8 Oklahoma Christian defeated Tulsa Noah 47-12.
Brooks had TD passes of 28 and 29 yards to Garrett Kilborn, and 56 yards to Blake Barnes. James scored on runs of 22, 11 and 5 yards. Barnes added a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown.
OCS improved to 4-1 overall.
