Seminole slips by Perkins

Mike Snyder's move into a tie for No. 2 on Oklahoma's all-time wins list was far more difficult than his previous milestone.

Snyder, longtime coach at Seminole, saw his team rout McLoud 62-24 last week to give him his 300th victory. On Friday night, the Class 3A No. 4 Chieftans edged past Perkins 14-7. Snyder is now tied with Bruce Hendrickson on the career victory list.

Doc Harvey's 3-yard TD run in the third quarter proved to be the game-winner. Seminole's first touchdown came on a 24-yard run by Trent Newsome in the first quarter.

Crescent cruises

Preston Walker threw three touchdown passes to Tristan Lacey and ran for a score as Class A No. 6 Crescent defeated Carnegie 48-14. Walker's TD throws covered 13, 18 and 9 yards. Michael Chronister added touchdown runs of 26 and 59 yards for Crescent (4-0), and Devon Bledsoe returned a kickoff 89 yards for a TD.

Late TD lifts Davenport

Matt Miller scored on a 1-yard run with 28 seconds left to tie the game, then ran for the 2-point conversion to give Class B No. 7 Davenport a 36-34 victory over Weleetka.

Davenport (3-1) drove for the game-winning touchdown after getting the ball near midfield with 3:10 remaining and no timeouts.

Kevin Thomas scored twice for Davenport and Tanner Lyon returned a blocked punt 55 yards for a score.

Sink scores six TDs for Anadarko

Class 4A No. 7 Anadarko got six touchdowns from junior running back A.J. Sink in a 47-0 victory over Cache. Sink scored Anadarko's first six touchdowns, including a 69-yarder, and finished with 194 yards on 19 carries. Quarterback Brandon Pollard ran for 71 yards on nine carries and completed 5 of 7 passes for 67 yards for the Warriors (4-0).

Meeker 56, Haskell 34

Jake Standlee threw three touchdown passes and ran for a TD in leading Meeker past Haskell 56-34. One of Standlee's touchdowns went to Nick Cagle, who also scored three rushing touchdowns.

Alex Wheeland accounted for four of Haskell's five touchdowns. He scored two on the ground, including a 56-yarder, and threw for two others.
