High school football roundup: Seminole gives coach Mike Snyder win No. 300

Oklahoma coaching legend has been at Seminole since 1980. He joins Joe Tunnell and Bruce Hendrickson as the state's only 300-game winners.

Second-quarter TD runs of 1 yard by Dutton and 55 by Jordan gave Guthrie a 35-18 halftime lead. Richard Ruthers returned an interception 65 yards for a score in the third quarter.

Chancellor, Krenger lead Irish

Cody Chancellor caught two touchdown passes and had two interceptions, helping lead Class 5A No. 6 Bishop McGuinness to a 42-7 victory at Weatherford. Danny Krenger added an 89-yard TD run and scored on a 39-yard interception return.

Quarterback Jacob Lewis, who missed most of last week's game with a leg bruise, gained 85 yards on 13 carries and was 14-of-21 passing for 142 yards and two TDs for the Irish (3-0).

Minco handles Maysville

Dakota Garrett ran for three scores and Tyler Mitchum threw for three, leading Class A No. 9 Minco past Maysville, 39-7. Garrett scored on runs of 4, 14 and 1 yards. Mitchum had TD passes of 34 and 22 yards to Jacob Overton, and a 40-yarder to Joe Mitchell.

Wild finish for Victory Christian

Victory Christian scored all its points in the fourth quarter, including two touchdowns in the final 1:09, to stun Class 3A No. 5 Sequoyah-Tahlequah 35-34.

Freshman Keats Calhoon threw four TD passes, including the game-winner for 59 yards to Cole Taylor with 15 seconds remaining. The other completion on the three-play, 92-yard drive was a 33-yarder to Jacoby Hicks.

Calhoon finished with 431 yards passing, 227 of those in the fourth quarter.

Clinton's Lee ejected

Clinton coach Mike Lee was ejected during the Red Tornadoes' 50-14 victory over Southeast, after his team received several sideline warnings. Marquiz Simpkins had 15 rushes for 206 yards and four touchdowns.

Girdley, Ada roll

Senior tailback Mason Girdley gained 253 yards on 26 carries and scored four times in Class 4A No. 5 Ada's 35-12 victory over Durant. Girdley's touchdowns covered 7, 9, 5 and 10 yards as the Cougars improved to 3-0 heading into district play.

Rockets defeat Northeast

Mount St. Mary's option game picked up 315 yards on the ground and Jacob Mollman scored four times in a 63-6 victory over Northeast. Mollman had TDs of 17, 1, 13 and 2 yards. Holden Baker added two touchdowns, on a 31-yard run and a 43-yard interception return, as the Rockets improved to 2-1.
