Title rematch highlights the week's scrimmages

Is it too early to get excited for a state championship game rematch? Not in Kingfisher.

The Yellowjackets will host Blanchard, the team that defeated them for the Class 3A championship last fall, as part of a busy Thursday scrimmage schedule around the Oklahoma City metro area.

Mustang and Norman host their annual scrimmages, two of the biggest in the metro area. Edmond North, Norman North, Southmoore, Westmoore and Bishop McGuinness are among the teams on display in Mustang beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Norman's Top of the World Classic will include Stillwater, Choctaw, Deer Creek, Shawnee and others in an eight-team event at 5 p.m. Friday.
