In addition to the Deer Creek girls, here are a few metro-area golfers to watch at the girls state tournaments, which run Wednesday-Thursday.

Kina Boone and Anna Mikish, Choctaw: The pair of Yellowjackets each has the ability to go low and contend for the Class 6A title.

Brinn Fariss, Edmond Santa Fe: Only a sophomore, Fariss fired a 67 to win the west regional last week.

Abi Hagans, Bethel: Took third at a 3A regional last week and hopes to be in the mix at state in Duncan.

Alexis Sadeghy, Bishop McGuinness: A top contender for the 5A individual crown, Sadeghy has multiple wins and top-three finishes this year, including the east regional last week.

Allison Sell, Edmond North: Sell played her best golf at state last year to win the 6A title, and now she'll try to repeat as a senior.
