High school notebook: Deondre Clark, Stephen Clark making recruiting visits

Deondre Clark will attend OU-Texas on Saturday, and then he and Stephen Clark will both head to Waco to watch Baylor play TCU.

Bean latest to commit to Tulsa

With the recent addition of Hooker's Joe Bean, Tulsa now has seven in-state commitments.

Bean (6-foot-1, 195 pounds) committed in late September after a recent visit to Tulsa.

Bean adds to the impressive list of state players deciding to commit to Bill Blankenship's Golden Hurricanes.

Other in-state commitments for Tulsa include Vian's Rob Boyd, Sallisaw's Ben Oberste, McAlester's Devin Rolan, Norman's Zac Uhles and Tulsa Union's Chris Hall and Khalid Kornegay.

The Golden Hurricane have 12 commitments overall.

Lawton-Edmond Santa Fe game broadcast on NewsOK

Thursday night's top-10 matchup between two of the west side's best Class 6A teams will be broadcast live on NewsOK.com in conjunction with ZPreps.com.

Sixth-ranked Santa Fe will host ninth-ranked Lawton at Central Oklahoma's Wantland Stadium at 7 p.m. Thursday to kick off Week 7 of the high school football season.

The ZPreps broadcast of Broken Arrow at Putnam City will be carried on NewsOK at 7 p.m. Friday.
