High school notebook: Douglass, Northeast meet in battle of top teams
Douglass will visit Northeast on Friday night in a meeting of two top-ranked boys basketball teams.
Following a girls game that should be quite competitive as well, the Northeast boys, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, will tip off against Class 4A's No. 1 squad at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Douglass won the last meeting 85-60, but Northeast is unbeaten at home this season.
