Jenks safety Steven Parker, the No. 1 prospect on The Oklahoman's Super 30, said this week that he is not close to making a college decision.

The 6-foot-2 standout has nearly 30 Division I offers. He said he was nearing a decision, but some things happened to change his mind.

He declined to elaborate on the situation and said he wants to keep it private.

Parker is one of four state players who will take part in the Semper Fidelis All-America game next month in the Los Angeles area.

He'll be joined by Tulsa Union tight end Carson Meier, Tulsa Washington defensive end Jordan Brailford and Douglass defensive end Deondre Clark. Douglass coach Willis Alexander is also serving as an assistant coach in the game.
