Higgins, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound junior, has yet to receive an offer, but other programs, like Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech have been showing interest for a while now.
He'll make visits to Wake Forest and Navy later this month. A strong student, Higgins is also getting recruited by the likes of Harvard, Princeton, Brown and Holy Cross.
HANSEN PICKS UP K-STATE OFFER
Edmond Santa Fe quarterback Justice Hansen continues to rake in the offers.
He added another late last week when Kansas State joined the mix.
It's the second offer from a Big 12 school for the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Hansen. He's also gotten an offer from Oklahoma.
Hansen also has offers from five SEC teams, including Texas A&M and Auburn, plus Arizona State.
Hansen threw for 3,079 yards and 36 touchdowns with nine interceptions as a junior. He also ran for 773 yards and 14 touchdowns.
STATE TEAMS HEADING FOR FLORIDA
Nine baseball teams from the state, including defending Class 6A champion Edmond North, are heading to Pensacola, Fla., this week for the 20th annual Aggie Classic.
