Irish go 2-1 in Arkansas
Bishop McGuinness won two of three games to finish third at the Holiday Hoops Tournament in Fayetteville, Ark., last weekend. Junior Daniel Orton had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Irish as they defeated Memphis (Tenn.) Hamilton 63-52 in the third-place game. Junior Ryan Randolph, who led the Irish football team to the Class 4A title, had 17 second half points in the win.

McGuinness (3-2) defeated Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber in the first round and lost to Carroll (La.) in the second round.

Oklahoma signee Willie Warren averaged 24 points while leading North Crowley (Texas) to the tournament championship.

Oku, Smith and Webb among Rivals Top 100 for 2009: Carl Albert running back David Oku, Tulsa Union running back Jeremy Smith and Owasso offensive tackle Brandon Webb ranked among the Top 100 players in America in the Class of 2009 on Rivals.com

Oku, who finished with 1,628 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns, is ranked No. 18 overall.

Smith, Union's leading rusher as a sophomore and junior, is No. 72 . Webb, a two-year starter for the Rams, is ranked No. 82.
