It didn't take long for Earp to make a trip to Pueblo and commit.

Colorado State-Pueblo went 12-1 last season, making the NCAA Division II semifinals.

“I feel like I'm going there to win three national championships when I'm there,” Earp said. “They're doing big things there and I wanted to be a part of it.”

PRINCE LOOKING BEYOND FOOTBALL

Norman North junior tight end Payton Prince figures to sign with a Division I program next year.

Prince recently took a trip to the University of Tulsa and received his first Division I offer from the Golden Hurricanes.

While the offer was significant for what it means for his football career, Prince stressed that his decision will be based on much more.

“I can't play football forever,” Prince said. “I know that. I was really impressed with the school there and the chances that could give me after I finished playing football.

“It's really something special to get an offer from a school like that.”
