High school notebook: Oklahoma City area teams move toward Big House
In Class A, unranked Cashion defeated Oklahoma Christian Academy and Cimarron to win its district and advance to the regional winner's bracket this weekend, where it will host No. 11 Okarche. The Warriors easily won their district title 75-29 over Ringwood on Saturday.
The pursuit for the Big House in Class A and B has gone well for some metro-area boys basketball teams so far.

Southmoore linebacker Copy Earp didn't know anything about Colorado State-Pueblo when the school reached out to him.
Earp was recruited by ThunderWolves' running backs coach Steve Sewell, who played for Oklahoma from 1981 to 1984 and for the Denver Broncos for seven seasons.
“He told me where he was from and asked if I knew anything about the program,” Earp said. “He asked me to give them a look and call him back. I did and told him I was very interested.”
