Hancock, U.S. team in the finals
The U.S. Youth Olympic girls' volleyball team overcame a late deficit in the first game to sweep Japan in three games in the semifinals Tuesday morning.
The Americans trailed 19-17 in the first game but rallied to notch eight of the next nine points for a 25-20 win. The scores were 25-23 and 25-23 in the other two games.
