Alex Shook, Edmond Memorial

Shook, a senior, won the boys 5K at the Mustang Harrier Invitational last week with a time of 16:37.45. Edmond Memorial also won the boys' team title as Bulldog runners finished one through four in the event.

In a 13-4 win over Sand Springs in the Yukon Tournament last weekend, Taliaferro was 4 for 4 with a home run and five RBIs. Taliaferro hit a grand slam in the third inning. She played a major part as the Huskies swept through the tournament.

The senior right-side hitter helped the second-ranked Huskies bounce back from their third loss of the season with seven straight wins, including a championship over a stout field at the Stillwater Tournament Saturday.
