High school soccer: Breaking down the playoff matchups

Taking a look at the soccer playoff pairings for Classes 6A-4A.

Northwest Classen (7-6) at Noble (13-0), 7 p.m.: Noble has allowed just one goal all season. Sidney David is the Lady Bears' best defender. Elizabeth Rojas is Northwest Classen's leading scorer.

Durant (10-3) at Carl Albert (8-5), 6:30 p.m.: Freshman Brea Davis is Carl Albert's leading scorer with 11 goals. Goal keeper Janessa Egler has 97 saves and allowed just 10 goals in 13 games.

Class 5A Boys

El Reno (7-5) at Heritage Hall (13-0), 6 p.m.: Connor McGinnis leads third-ranked Heritage Hall with 21 goals, while Austin Gordon has 15.

Capitol Hill (9-3) at Lawton MacArthur (8-4), 7:30 p.m.: Eduardo Moncada and Victor Bernal lead Capitol Hill in scoring with seven each. Tyler Hall leads Lawton MacArthur with 11 goals.

Guymon (5-5) at Western Heights (12-0), 6 p.m.: Seniors Cesar Zepada and Robert Owuso led the Jets to their first unbeaten regular season in 19 years.

Chickasha (7-5) at Northwest Classen (8-5), 7:30 p.m. at Taft Stadium: Devin Warden has seven goals for Chickasha to lead the team. Northwest Classen is the defending state champion.

Class 4A Girls

Classen SAS (4-5) at Elk City (11-2), 5 p.m.: Elk City has won seven in a row and only two losses were in shootouts

Newcastle (8-3) at Harrah (11-2), 6 p.m.: Harrah went unbeaten in district play, outscoring opponents 34-2

Weatherford (13-3) at Piedmont (12-2), 5 p.m.: Piedmont won nine consecutive games since losing 4-3 to Harrah in a shootout on March 14

Bethany (7-7) at Cache (11-2): Cache outscored opponents 45-6 this season. Bethany has won six in a row since a 2-0 defeat to Harrah in the district opener.

Class 4A Boys

Dove Science-OKC (7-3) at Woodward (9-2): Woodward is riding a six-game winning streak

Clinton (7-5) at Santa Fe South (10-3), 7 p.m.: No. 2 Santa Fe South only three losses have been to 5A and 6A opponents

Weatherford (11-2) at Southeast (9-3), 7:30 p.m.: Midfielders Juan Ulloa and Joe Alvarez are Southeast's best players. The Spartans have qualified for the playoffs four of the last five seasons.

Bethany (7-7) at Cache (9-4): Cache won seven of its last eight and went unbeaten in district play. Bethany has won six of its last seven with the only loss coming to Santa Fe South in a 3-2 shootout.
