High school tennis: Players to watch for the 2013 season

Nate Roper, senior, Edmond North: Defending 6A state champ at No. 1 singles already has won tournaments at Jenks and Tulsa Union this season.

Bryan Lilley, junior, Edmond North: Defending state champ at No. 1 doubles.

David Hager, junior, Edmond North: Defending state champ at No. 2 singles.

Tanner Chambers, senior, Edmond North: Defending state champ at No. 2 doubles.

Nick Harvey, sophomore, Heritage Hall: Playing No. 1 singles for the Chargers this season after being the state runner-up at No. 1 doubles last year.

Truitt Maxwell, junior, Heritage Hall: Runner-up at No. 1 doubles last season.

Matthew Taber, senior, Carl Albert: Returning No. 2 doubles state champ.

Oakes Arceneaux, Heritage Hall: No. 1 doubles champ two years ago and runner-up at No. 2 doubles last year.

Storm Rund, junior, Edmond Santa Fe: State runner-up last year at No 1 doubles.

Seth Moore, senior, Yukon: Won the Carl Albert tourney this year at No. 1 singles.

Girls

Lindsey Grace, junior, Heritage Hall: Won No. 1 doubles state champion as freshman and was runner-up last year.

Hannah Bowen, sophomore, Heritage Hall: Defending No. 2 doubles state champion.

Kat Allen, sophomore, Heritage Hall: Runner-up last year at No. 2 singles but playing No. 1 singles this season.

Jaci Smith, sophomore, Edmond North: Defending state champ at No. 2 singles.

Ann Pepper, senior, Edmond North: Defending state champ at No. 1 doubles but will play No. 1 singles this season.

Kelsi Williams, senior, Deer Creek: Finished fourth in No. 1 singles in Class 5A last season.
