Hosted by USA Wrestling, there are both morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday with finals scheduled for 7 p.m. at OCU's Freede Center.
Scheduled for Sunday are the Junior Folkstyle Duals.
WASHINGTON GETS ALL-AMERICAN SENDOFF
Jenks guard Jessica Washington was honored at a pep rally event Friday afternoon before she leaves to compete in the McDonald's All-American Game next week in Chicago.
Washington was the only state basketball player selected on either the girls or boys team.
“I feel really blessed to have this opportunity,” Washington said. “It means a lot to be an All-American.”
Washington is one of three North Carolina signees on the rosters and said she knows almost all of the girls she'll be playing with and against.
The girls game will start at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the United Center. The boys game will follow at 7:30. The girls game will be telecast on ESPNU, while the boys game will be televised on ESPN.
Washington is the fourth Oklahoma girls basketball standout to compete in the game.
Midwest City's Richa Jackson (2010) and Sapulpa's Alyssia Brewer (2008) and Earnesia Williams (2005) also earned the honor.
