Tuesday is the last chance for fans to vote for their choice as the Oklahoma City-area Football Player of the Week, where you can choose from one of the five selections on the blog at NewsOK.com/Varsity.

Voting ends at 4 p.m. Tuesday and the results of the poll will appear in Wednesday's Oklahoman.

Here are the candidates

Frankie Edwards, Mustang: Passed for 227 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 111 yards and two TDs to preserve Mustang's playoff chances in a 37-34 win over Lawton.

Michael Farmer, Edmond North: Rushed for five touchdowns, including runs of 51 and 93 yards, in a 49-14 win over Midwest City to clinch a home-field playoff berth.

Danny Krenger, McGuinness: Krenger did a little of everything, catching touchdown passes of 25 and 83 yards, and intercepting a pass as the Irish upset No. 1 Guthrie.

Preston Walker, Crescent: Crescent bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 47-13 win over Watonga behind five TD passes and one rushing score from Walker.

Jimmy Wood, Noble: Rushed for 146 yards with two touchdowns and was a threat as a receiver as well, as Noble rallied to beat Durant and keep its playoff hopes alive.
