High speed chase in Texas ends in deaths of six family members

A high-speed chase in South Texas concluded in a scene of carnage that left six members of the same family dead, witnesses and authorities said Tuesday, reports NBC DFW.



The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a statement Tuesday that the alleged driver of the fleeing pickup was Hector Ramirez, 18, of Roma.

He remained hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, but authorities planned to file criminal charges upon his release from the hospital.
