Historic Norman house is severely damaged

Further damage to the Bavinger House has happened in recent months.

NORMAN — A historic Norman home has been left partially ruined following years of speculation about its condition.

Bob Bavinger, owner of the Bavinger House, 730 NE 60th Ave., told the Norman Transcript in 2011 the house had been demolished. Later that year, a statement on the house’s website claimed the house was permanently closed due to “severe storm damage.”
