Voters in Marblehead, Massachusetts rallied to add extra funding to the town's budget to repair the clock tower of historic Abbot Hall, the Marblehead town hall.

Abbot Hall, among other things, is home to "The Spirit of '76". The clock tower is 140 years old, and for many years rang on the hour, every hour. Abbot Hall is a wonderful historic building, and it is so nice to see the residents of Marblehead rallying to preserve it. Looks like some building experts from the Boston area have a fun project coming up!
