Juliette Low founded the “ Girl Guides ,” which later became the Girl Scouts of the United States of America , in Savannah, Ga. About two years later, a Girl Scout troop organized in Oklahoma City .

1917

A Girl Scout troop in Muskogee sold cookies, the earliest known record that connected Girl Scouts with cookie sales as a fundraiser, according to the national organization
